What’s On

What's On at Longstanton Wellness

Community groups and events offering relaxed ways to connect, share experiences and enjoy time with other people.

Some things at Longstanton Wellness are less about appointments and more about having somewhere to go, people to meet and something enjoyable or useful to take part in. Our groups and events offer different ways to connect, talk, listen or move to music. You can choose what feels relevant to you.

Drop in

Chatty Cat

Chatty Cat

Mondays and Fridays, 1:30pm to 3:30pm · Drop in; no appointment needed

Chatty Cat is an informal drop-in for a cuppa and conversation, hosted by Catherine. You are welcome to come in, stay for a while and talk with other people in a relaxed setting.

This is not counselling, a clinical appointment or a facilitated support group. Catherine can share information about what is happening at Longstanton Wellness and help you find the right person to contact if you would like to know more about one of our services.

Monthly group

Together Through Pain

Together Through Pain

Last Tuesday of each month, 10:30am · 60 minutes · £5

Living with persistent pain or an ongoing health difficulty can affect far more than symptoms. Together Through Pain is a monthly facilitated conversation where people can talk, listen and share experiences with others who may understand some of the practical and emotional complexity.

There is no expectation to tell your story, offer advice or arrive with a particular goal. You can take part in the way that feels comfortable for you.

This is a peer-support conversation rather than clinical treatment, counselling or crisis support. If something comes up that may benefit from individual support, we can explain the services available and you can decide whether you would like to explore them.

Monthly event

Daylight Disco

Daylight Disco

Second Sunday of each month, 12:30pm · £10

Daylight Disco is a relaxed daytime opportunity to enjoy music and move in your own way. There are no routines to learn and no expectation to dance in a particular way. You can join in, take breaks, sit, stand or simply enjoy the atmosphere.

The focus is on music, movement and enjoyment rather than performance or exercise targets.
