Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy in Longstanton

Understand what is affecting your movement and develop a practical approach to rehabilitation with support shaped around your starting point.

At Longstanton Wellness, you can work with HCPC-registered physiotherapists Renae Brown and Annemette Jepsen. They offer musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation, with additional experience across mobility, balance, healthy ageing, surgery and returning to activity.

Your physiotherapist will take time to understand what has changed, what you find difficult and what you would like to work towards. Together, you can agree a plan using the approaches that are appropriate for you.

The profession

What Is Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy supports movement and physical function when pain, injury, illness, surgery or a long-term condition affects everyday life.

An assessment may consider your joints, muscles, strength, mobility and balance, alongside the activities you want or need to do. Depending on your needs and preferences, care may include exercise, movement practice, hands-on treatment and practical advice.

Physiotherapy Appointments

Compression Recovery

60 minutes · £53

Rest your legs in sequential pneumatic compression after exercise, sport or a physically demanding period. The inflatable garments apply rhythmic, gradually changing pressure around the legs, creating a relaxing session when they feel tired or heavy.

Compression Recovery does not include a physiotherapy assessment. If you have a new injury, unexplained swelling or a diagnosed circulatory or lymphatic condition, we will check whether this is an appropriate appointment before proceeding.

Physiotherapy Consultation

60 minutes · £77

Start here if you have a new injury, a physical concern that has not been assessed or would like support with movement or rehabilitation. Your physiotherapist will listen, assess and explain the available options.

Where appropriate and with your agreement, treatment or rehabilitation can begin during the consultation.

Physiotherapy Follow Up

45 minutes · £73

Continue your agreed rehabilitation, review what has changed and adapt the plan where needed. This appointment is for existing physiotherapy clients.
